Help Your Child Complete the 2025–26 FAFSA® Form Today

Dear Parent,

The 2025–26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is available at fafsa.gov. Your child shouldn't wait to submit their form if they plan to attend college, career school, or trade school between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. Encourage them to start their FAFSA form today to be eligible for as much aid as possible.

Remember: Your child must submit a FAFSA form every year they're in school to stay eligible for federal student aid.

We recommend that your child start the FAFSA form and complete their sections first to save time and prevent errors. After your child invites you to their FAFSA form, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to access and start filling out the form. Make sure you complete your required sections right away to help your child be eligible for as much aid as possible.

FAFSA® Resources for Parents

Check FAFSA deadlines. Your child’s state, their school, and the federal government all have different FAFSA deadlines. Keep track of these deadlines and encourage your child to complete their FAFSA form as early as possible.
