You started the 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, but you haven’t submitted it yet. We strongly encourage you to complete the form as soon as possible to qualify for the maximum amount of aid possible.
You must complete the FAFSA form in order to qualify for many types of student aid, including the following:

Log in and select your saved form on the “My Activity” page.

Ensure all your information is complete and that all information from any required contributors (parents, parent spouse, or spouse, as applicable) is complete.

Make sure you’ve signed your FAFSA form by selecting the “Submit” button at the end of your section.
|

Make sure your contributors have also signed and submitted their section of the form to complete your application.

Talk to Your Contributor
If you’re still waiting on a contributor to complete their section, make time to talk to them. Help them understand the following:

Their participation is mandatory for you to be eligible for federal student aid.

• |
They won’t be financially responsible for your education costs just by sharing their information.
|
• |
Your FAFSA form, including contributor information, should be completed as soon as possible.
|
Note: Your contributor should log in to StudentAid.gov; accept their invitation to join your FAFSA form; and complete, sign and submit their section.
